Tenemos a bien comunicar que el día sábado 4 de marzo del presente año se realizó la Inauguración de la novena agencia de la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Lucha Campesina en el cantón Baba; ubicada en la calle Rocafuerte entre 9 de octubre y Sucre; se contó con la presencia de las autoridades institucionales como es el Consejo de Administración y Consejo de Vigilancia; Gerente Subrogante Néstor Ortiz, personal administrativo y operativo, socios invitados y público en general; además se contó con la presencia de Edgar Peñaherrera – Gerente de ICORED, Rafael Avilés Ledergerber – Presidente Ejecutivo de ECUAPRIMAS y David Cedeño – Socio ECUAPRIMAS.
Las palabras de bienvenida estuvieron a cargo del Presidente del Consejo de Administración, Ab. Jesús Zambrano, las palabras de inauguración a cargo del Gerente Subrogante Néstor Ortiz, el brindis estuvo a cargo del Presidente del Consejo de Vigilancia, Econ. Fernando Vega quien rescató la gran laboral de Lucha Campesina en expandirse para atender a más personas del sector rural. Tuvimos la presencia de la Alcaldesa electa 2023 – Jael Melo, quien estuvo en la corte de la cinta simbólica junto a los Directivos y personal de la Institución; seguido de este acto el padre Hernán Defaz – párroco de la Iglesia San Francisco de Asís realizó el protocolo de bendición de la agencia a la vista de todos los asistentes y finalmente la animación del evento protocolar se realizó con la intervención del grupo de danza “Son Vinceño” rescatando la cultura del cantón Baba.
